Minted Lamb and Sirloin Steak
Preparation
- Cut the potatoes in wedges but not peeled
- Add peppercorn seasoning to the steak and mint seasoning to the lamb chops
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to lamb as well as to the steak
- Add Tabasco sauce to the steak and 2 tablespoon of liquid seasoning to the chops
- Add salt for taste
- Work the seasoning into meat with the basting brush or hands. Make sure the seasonings are evenly spread on both sides
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the potatoes and season with salt, pepper and spicy cajun while mixing them together.
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil on each side of the pan and spread evenly
- Place the potatoes evenly across the entire pan base in one layer
- Set your hob to maximum power
- Put the pan on the cooker and cover with a lid
- When you see steam condensing on the glass lid and escaping, turn the heat down to one third
- Set the timer to 5 minutes
- Season your vegetables to taste using olive oil, Tabasco, liquid seasoning and a pinch of salt while mixing well
- After 5 minutes, remove the lid and turn the potatoes over as well as move them to one side of the pan
- Add the beef and lamb to the pan
- Toss your vegetables over the potatoes and replace the lid
- Continue cooking for 5 minutes
- After 3 minutes, turn over the meat and replace the lid
- Turn off the heat after the remaining 2 minutes
- Let the food rest for 2 – 3 minutes
- Serve and enjoy
